Updates and Progress

Hey everyone. Just thought I thought I would put in my update on Ryder (Tan collar). He's doing great, loving the water and swimming like a champ. I just bought about 35 quail for him to find, he LOVES his birds!!! I just started introducing him to gunfire this week and it doesn't seem to faze him, I didnt think it would seeing how well he did on the 4th of July.

He does however like to keep his birds and bumpers instead of bringing them back to me, which he did so well with in the beginning. I just bought a long lead and plan on using that until he figures it out again. Also he is a bit of a biter, still trying to break that bad little habit. But I have to remember that he is still a puppy and thats what they do. Overall i'm incredibly happy with Ryder and am extremely anxious for the future. I also look forward to hearing from the other owners, so hopefully we all stay connected.

If anyone is ever in the Seattle area and want to train or whatever, feel free to give me a shout, i'm about 35 minutes North of Seattle, but am used to commuting so driving isnt a problem. I have access to quite a bit of farm land and good training grounds, so I'm always up for putting the pup on some birds. Hope you all are enjoying your pups as much as I am, and I look forward to hearing your progress as well!
